Michael Schluder (Vienna)

Michael Schluder, Architekt Dipl.-Ing. Studied at the Vienna Technical University and graduated 1985 at the Institute of Prof Hiesmayr. Together with Hanns Kastner he founded the architectural firm “schluder architektur” in Vienna in 1988. In Berlin from 1993 – 1997. Since 2021 „ Schluder Architekten ZT GmbH“ with a new partner Eldin Kabaklija. Since 2011 he lectures at Vienna University of Technology, at the Department for Building Construction 2 and the Department of Structural Design and Timber Engineering, as much on some symposium like 2015 at the international wood symposium in Vancouver. Nominations in 2005 for timber construction “wienwood”, 2010 state award for Environment and Energy Technology and 2015 for the first 7-storey high rise residential building made in timber. In 2008 and 2010 he worked on the Researchproject 8+ and 8+ PHASE 2 of multistoried buildings in timber construction. His work is based on 30 years of experience, dedication and stability within the team.
