Paolo Belloni (Venice)

Paolo Belloni is Founder & Owner Graduated with honors in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. After some study and work experiences in Lisbon, Barcelona, New York and Maracaibo he opens his own studio in Bergamo. He obtains the International Doctorate in “Architectural, Civil, Urban Planning and Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings” at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura in Barcelona. He combines his professional activity with teaching at the Politecnico di Milano where from 2004 to 2017 he taught in the Degree Course in Environmental Architecture and Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering. In 2002 he founded Archiforum, the Association for Architecture. He was invited professor at the Technical University of Riga, the ELISAVA School of Design and Architecture in Barcelona, the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture, the Bilgi University of Istanbul, the Toledo School of Architecture, the Thessaloniki School of Architecture and the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tunis. He occasionally writes for some architectural magazines both in Italy and abroad. As a lecturer in the Degree Course in Environmental Architecture, he dealt with issues relating to landscape design and the relationship between built and natural environment. He was a member of the Construction Commission of the Municipality of Bergamo, and President of the Order of Architects of the Province of Bergamo where he has been registered since 1994. He is a member of the Italian Association of Landscape Architects.
